Account Deletion Request
Request the deletion of your Groupify account and associated data
Delete Your Account Yourself — Immediately
If you're signed in, you can delete your account yourself in one step, with no waiting period. Go to your profile → Edit Profile → Delete My Account. The deletion is immediate and permanent — your account and personal information are removed right away and the account cannot be reactivated.
You can also choose, at that time, to prevent your email or phone number from ever being re-added or re-invited.
Can't Sign In?
If you're unable to sign in to delete your account yourself, send an email to deleteaccount@groupify.org and include:
- Your full name as it appears on your Groupify account
- The email address associated with your account
- The name of the organization(s) you are a member of on Groupify
What Happens Next
- Verification: We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
- Processing: Your deletion request will be processed within 30 days of verification.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that your account and data have been deleted.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your user profile and account information
- Your membership records in organizations, groups, and families
- Your posts, comments, and survey responses
- Your event RSVPs and sign-up sheet entries
- Push notification tokens and device registrations
Note: Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
