Common Questions
How do I sign in?
Groupify uses passwordless sign-in. On the sign-in page, enter the email address or mobile number associated with your account. We send a one-time code by email or text; enter that code to finish signing in. Check the “Remember this device” box to skip the code on future sign-ins from the same device.
I didn't receive my sign-in code.
Codes are usually delivered within a minute. If yours hasn't arrived:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm the email address or phone number on file matches what you're using.
- If still missing, email support@groupify.org and we'll re-send or troubleshoot.
How do I get an account?
Groupify accounts are issued by your organization (church, school, family, club, etc.). Ask the person who runs your group to send you an invitation. If you're starting a new organization, see Learn More or contact us at support@groupify.org.
How do I report a problem with content or another user?
Every post, comment, event, and user profile has a “Flag Content” option in the … menu. Flagged items are reviewed by our team within 24 hours. You can also block another user from any user profile page so they can no longer interact with you.
How do I change my notification preferences?
Open the app menu and choose Settings → Notifications. From there you can choose which channels (email, SMS, push) deliver each kind of notification, set quiet hours, or mute notifications for a period.
How do I delete my account?
Visit Account Deletion to submit a deletion request. We confirm deletion by email within one business day.
Mobile App
Groupify is available as a mobile app on iPhone, iPad, and Android. The app gives you push notifications, dark-mode support, and a native experience for browsing your community feed, events, and sign-up sheets.
If you're having trouble with the app specifically — install issues, sign-in not completing, push notifications not arriving — please include the following details in your email so we can help quickly:
- Device model (e.g. iPhone 15, Pixel 8)
- Operating system version
- App version (visible in the app menu under About)
- What you were doing when the problem happened
